Support Through Change
Therapy for Life Transitions in NYC
For the point between what was familiar and what comes next, whether the change was chosen, expected or sudden.

Change Can Hold More Than One Feeling
A new chapter can still include a loss
A move, graduation or marriage may be welcome and still unsettle your routines, relationships or sense of self. Therapy gives the change enough room to be understood without forcing it into a positive or negative category.

Sorting What Is Changing
Separate the decision from the pressure around it
Sessions can slow down the competing questions that arrive during a transition. We look at what has changed, which expectations belong to you and which parts of your life still feel dependable.
Clear goals help organize the work. One goal may involve making a decision, while another may focus on communication, grief, confidence or the anxiety that appears when the next step is uncertain.
Individuals
Identity during a turning point
Azia wants her work to be known for helping individuals through trauma and major life changes. Therapy can examine how an earlier experience affects the meaning of a current decision.
Young Couples
Change shared by two people
A new city, marriage, job or baby can alter roles and expectations. Couples therapy can help partners speak directly about what each person needs as life changes around them.
What Stays
Keep contact with your values
We identify relationships, routines and priorities that can provide continuity while other parts of life move. That foundation can make choices feel more deliberate.
Weekly Sessions
Focused time for the next decision
Individual sessions are 45 minutes and $200. Couples sessions are 60 minutes and $250. Both are weekly, with in-person appointments in Manhattan and online sessions throughout New York State.
Evening appointments are available. A free 15-minute phone consultation can help you decide which session format fits the change you are facing.
Between Before and After
You can miss what ended and still consider what comes next.
Therapy makes room for both parts of a transition without rushing the answer.
