Questions About Direction Deserve Time

Choosing a career, reconsidering a relationship or moving into a different stage of adulthood can leave you questioning decisions that once seemed settled. Young adults and professionals can explore those questions with Azia Carter, LMFT.

Women in their 20s and 30s may bring exhaustion, anxiety or depression alongside that uncertainty. Therapy can address what is happening internally, even when your circumstances appear fine to other people.

A Relationship Can Hold Conflicting Needs

Young couples may disagree about closeness, responsibility or what the next stage should look like. Instead of repeating the argument, shared sessions examine what each partner experiences in that exchange.

Azia uses EFT and the Gottman Method when they fit the work. Families can discuss conflict and transitions too, while grief may change expectations or bring feelings that are difficult to express at home.

Room to Be Unsure

More confidence does not have to mean certainty about everything. We work toward understanding your reactions and making choices that take your needs seriously. A relationship may become more connected as communication changes.

No particular result is promised. Therapy keeps attention on the concerns and goals you identify, rather than asking you to follow a fixed story about how your life should unfold.

What Weekly Sessions Involve

The first meeting establishes clear goals and explores your reasons for seeking care. Subsequent appointments can connect current experiences with recurring thoughts or patterns in relationships.

Azia draws on psychodynamic therapy, CBT and family systems thinking among other methods. Her style is compassionate and direct; you can ask how an approach relates to the concern you want to address.
