Care With Clear Goals

Therapy in Chelsea

Support for adults and couples who want less pressure in their days and more clarity in their conversations.

In person or online

You Can Begin Without a Complete Story

During your first appointment, bring the concern that feels closest to the surface. It may be a hard week, a conflict or an exhausted feeling you cannot explain yet. Clear goals are set together.

Azia uses compassionate, direct questions to understand your experience. CBT, IFS or solution-focused therapy may inform the work, depending on what you need rather than a predetermined script.

When Your Inner Critic Gets Loud

For women in their 20s and 30s, achievement can coexist with constant self-doubt. You might be meeting expectations while feeling anxious about every choice. Or depression may make the things you once enjoyed feel distant.

Young professionals and adults in transition can discuss the pressure to have a settled answer about work, relationships or the future. Therapy gives those questions sustained attention.

A Different Kind of Relationship Conversation

In couples therapy, we look beyond who started the last disagreement. What made each person feel dismissed? When did the discussion turn toward criticism or silence? Azia draws on EFT and the Gottman Method.

Families may bring conflicts about roles or expectations. Grief can be part of individual or shared work when a loss affects how people communicate and support one another.

Practical Details for Chelsea Clients

In-person care is offered at our office at 16 Madison Square West, by Madison Square Park. You may instead attend online while in New York State. Weekly appointments include evening options, subject to availability.

A 45-minute individual session is $200. A 60-minute couples or family session is $250. We do not join insurance networks; superbills and Thrizer can assist with out-of-network benefits. Reimbursement is determined by insurance, not promised by the practice.

Progress Can Start With Noticing

Recognizing a familiar response before it takes over may create more choice. Naming a need plainly may change how a conversation unfolds. These are possibilities we can work toward, not a list of promised results.

Use the free 15-minute phone consultation to ask what care could look like for your concerns and whether a current opening matches your week.
